Nearly 20% of Americans live in rural areas with access barriers that make delivering high-quality sepsis care challenging. Learn about some of the barriers to sepsis care and the ways that systems of care can be developed to support rural patients in low-volume hospitals. This presentation will also discuss the use of telemedicine in sepsis and how regional networks can be used to leverage quality improvement activities across wide geographic areas.
