We manage chronic and acute on chronic pain using pharmaceuticals, injections, and referral for (PT, chiro, counseling, etc.). This would be an excellent opportunity for students to learn a subspecialty that is often overlooked or under taught in not just NP programs but all provider programs.

You can set up hours based on needs. You will learn skills regarding prescribing of pharmaceuticals for chronic pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, etc. You will also learn a variety of different injections that can be performed during an office visit even by an FNP in an FNP practice.
